I had an above-average news morning today, finding out several very interesting things from the powerful combination of Google News and TexAgs. In no particular order:
Some dude in North Dakota found a dinosaur with fossilized skin and muscle! That's totally awesome.
Venezualans are wising up. Way to block dictatorship, university students. Way to block dictatorship.
Bob Stoops is a little bit petty. Voting for LSU at #6? Very objective, sir.

Wait a minute...Fran still gets a vote?
I didn't know their votes became public - that is interesting! Thanks for sharing. =)
I don't think Stoops did anything wrong. He was merely working within the system as it exists to attempt to advance the fortunes of his team. It is unfortunate that he had to resort to filling out a ballot rather than drawing up a plan for a playoff game. Plus, who's to say LSU isn't deserving of a #6? They did lose two games.
Now, Schnellenberger, on the other hand, voting down the team that fired him. If that's what he was doing, that's petty.
I'm not saying that Stoops was wrong (you gotta do what you gotta do), but anybody who votes for Va Tech ahead of the team that beat them by 41 points is not being objective.
I don't know why Fran still gets to vote either. Maybe because his replacement isn't really in place yet? Because they seemed to be saying that Art Briles got the Baylor-coach vote.
