A Random Thought

My parents must feel pretty lucky that we had mostly grown out of Disney movies by the time they started releasing all those direct-to-video sequels (and, in the case of Beauty and the Beast . . . midquels?)

I mean, Cinderella II? How is that necessary?

Beauty and the Beast confuses me most of all....I mean, he turned into a HUMAN at the end! Did someone forget that key plot occurance?? I stopped watching Disney movies when Pocahontas came out. I considered The Lion King to be the end of an era, and I boycotted all future Disney movies for many many years. My children will just be forced to watch the oldies but goodies, and they will know true joy.

I understand that in Cinderella II, she marries the Prince and they travel to North Africa, where they run into her old boyfriend, Rick. They then go to find the Ark before the Nazis do. But they have to raise some cash, so Cinderella bets on Little Hot Shot to win the Pod race.
I haven't seen it, but I hear it is good.

Wow. I think you may have stumbled on a ground-breaking moment in the history of film. Someone call UCLA!
