Things That Instantly Fill Me with Blinding Rage

When publishers print The Chronicles of Narnia in "chronological" order instead of the order in which they were written

The movie Lost in Translation

Every song by Gary Puckett and the Union Gap

And, less frivolously:

Holocaust denial

Any slogan that says that God hates gay people.

Wow. So why Lost in Translation?

Because NOBODY SAID ANYTHING, there was NO PLOT, and IT WAS THE WORST MOVIE I HAVE EVER SEEN. That's why.

Worse than Plan 9 From Outer Space?

Okay. So you wouldn't call yourself a fan of existentialism?

Plan 9 from Outer Space is enjoyable, if not in the way that the filmmaker intended.

And I don't know what you mean about existentialism, Anonymous #2.

I agree wholeheartedly with your hatred of the movie LinT. It was pedantic. It was pointless. And usually, the same people who claim to like it also claim to like modern art, which is also generally pedantic, and pointless.

Kudos to you for the stand on Narnia, Holocaust Denial, and God hating gay people. As for Lost in Translation, well, I'm a big movie-hater, and I don't have hatred towards that movie. I wouldn't see it again, or ever buy it, but I don't actively want to kill people over it, like, say Lady in the Water.

The BBC had a story on that dumb Kansas funeral-protester family while I was abroad. What morons (the family, that is). But the host of the show made it clear that nobody agrees with them, so I was happy.

I know it's hard to imagine, but Broken Flowers is possibly a worse movie than Lost in Translation. I think it might be even more boring, plus it had completely gratuitous nudity. (I guess there might've been some of that in LnT, but we didn't watch it long enough to find out.)
